Simple Chocolate
/You will be amazed how easy this is to make and there are so many different things you can do with it! Plus it actually contains health benefits! Guilt FREE!
- 2/3 cup Coconut Oil
- 1 1/2 cups Raw Cacao Powder
- 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup (to taste)
On low heat melt the Coconut Oil, Cacao Powder and add Maple Syrup. My kids love to dip Chocolate on there fruit so I will usually have some on hand when I make this. This time I just simply dipped the fresh strawberries into the melted chocolate and then placed on a plate with parchment paper.
For the Bark
- 1/4 Cup Shredded Coconut
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Almonds (or nut of choice)
Once the chocolate is melted I pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and then sprinkle the coconut and almonds on top. Put into freezer or refrigerator until nice and cool and then break into pieces. Note- Coconut Oil melts easily in warm temperatures so keep this one in the fridge until ready to serve:)
